Prairie Star and Canada Violet
Finally, a prairie star! These tiny flowers are real hard to see, just one or two mixed in with the chickweed. Doesn't it look like a snowflake?!
The Canada violet has started to bloom... there are many violets all over the Black Hills in spring. I just love their cheerful, sweet "faces"!
