Custer Park Extravaganza

I was excited to see this swallow at the park today..I thought it was the violet-green swallow but it's a tree swallow.

A lark bunting was out and about today.

When you've got a killdeer in your sights, it runs in a fast, defensive zig-zag pattern.

This buffalo calf was feeling frisky, enjoying the pretty spring day.

French Creek runs across the park and is looking lush these days. Yellow rocket is growing along its banks.

Mr. Marmot stood up on his hind legs to get a better look at the odd creature taking his photo.
