A Canada goose and male American wigeon quietly share Sheridan Lake...that dark streak over the wigeon's eye is a pretty dark green (like a mallard's head), and the bill is pale blue.

A lone Canada goose hanging out on the S. shore of Sheridan Lake. There were several on the water too. 
That lake might well be worth watching for migrant visitors in the next few days Jann. good luck!
